Adela Chalon

Peacefully at home in London on Saturday, September 15, 2012, with her family at her side, Adela (Kowalski) Chalon passed away in her 89th year. Loving wife of the late Stanislaw Malec (1952) and Jozef Chalon (1996). Beloved mother of Janusz Malec (Irena) of London. Loving and proud Babcia and Pra Babcia of grandchildren and great-grandchildren in London and Poland. Dear sister of Czeslaw Kowalski of Poland and mother-in-law of Zofia and Teresa Malec. Predeceased by her sons Krzysztof Malec and Stanislaw Malec and her brothers Edward and Waclaw Kowalski. She will be dearly missed by her many friends and family in Canada and Poland. Visitors will be received in the O'Neil Funeral Home, 350 William St., on Monday from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 419 Hill St., on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. Interment St. Peter's Cemetery, London. Prayers Monday at 8:00 p.m. The family is very appreciative of the care received by CCAC and VON.
