Agnes Cammaert

Our dear mother, Agnes (Haverbeke) Cammaert of London, passed away July 16, 2011 at Mount Hope Centre for Long Term Care, London. She was born in the Netherlands in 1916 and was the beloved wife of the late August Cammaert (1966). Agnes is survived by two daughters: Annelies O’Brien and Rose Tapping, and two sons: Peter (Rose), and Carl (Lorraine), all of London. Grandmother of eleven grandchildren who lovingly called her “Bonma”: Jennifer and Katherine, Chad and Jamie, Jason, Ryan and Jeanine, Danielle and Jocelyn, Curtis and Courtney. She also leaves five great-grandchildren and many family members in the Netherlands. Also survived by her daughters-in-law Mary and Janie. Predeceased by her sons Hank and Paul, and one grandchild, Morgan. Agnes was a longtime member of the Catholic Women’s League. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Peter’s Basilica Cathedral, London, (Dufferin at Richmond) on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m with visitation in the Cathedral from 9:00 a.m. Interment St. Peter’s Cemetery, London. Memorial donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated. O’Neil Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Special thanks to Jeanine and staff of the 3rd floor of Mt. Hope for their extra care and concern in looking after our mother.
