Alda Maria Macedo

Peacefully, at Parkwood Institute, London, surrounded by her family, on Sunday, April 20, 2025, Alda Maria da Ponte Barbosa Macedo at the age of 88. Alda now joins her beloved husband Ildeberto Gomes Soares Macedo (1987). Dear mother of Dinarto “Danny” Macedo, Alda “Ali” Warren (Todd), Elizabeth Macedo (Gord Delamont) and Linda Crawford (Richard). Loving grandmother of Kinley Magier (Robert), Alisha Larochelle (Louis), Courtney Warren (Valerie Pepin), Kian Warren, Jacob Boulton, Sydney Crawford (Nathan Milligan), Camren Crawford, Sylus Macedo, Jaxon Macedo and Alton Macedo. Great-grandmother of Margeaux, Maximilian, Isla and Lily. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family. Predeceased by her sisters Maria do Anjos Pacheco and Isabel Amaral and her brother Jose Barbosa.

Visitors will be received in the O’Neil Funeral Home, 350 William St., London on Monday, April 28, 2025 from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Holy Cross Church,10 Elm St at Hamilton Rd., on Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. followed by interment in St. Peter’s Cemetery, London.
