Alfredo Esteves

After a courageous and valiant 2 year fight against colon cancer, Alfredo Acacio Esteves in his 72nd year passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 27, 2008. He will be greatly missed by his devoted wife Maria (Lurdes) Esteves and his children Alfredo (Fred) and his wife Maria, daughter Mary Lou Harloff and her husband Scott. VoVo will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Alisha, Melissa, Jacob and Olivia. He is also survived by his brother and sisters Manuel (Connie), Tony (Mary Barbara), Aurelia (Joaquim), Branca (Herminio), Clarisse (Manuel) and Teresa. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews. Visitors will be received in the O’Neil Funeral Home, 350 William St. on Sunday from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Holy Cross Church (Elm at Hamilton Rd.) on Monday at 10:00 a.m. Interment St. Peter’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
