Ali Hikmet Dogan

It is with great sadness that the Dogan family announces the death of their husband, father , grandfather and great grandfather Ali Hikmet Dogan. Ali passed away peacefully at Mount Hope Long Term Care on Monday January 16th, 2023 in his 92nd year.
Beloved husband of Nora (nee Wilds).
Dear father of Kem (Nancy), Dale, Erol (Deborah), Norry (Joyce), Hale and Tulin (Peter).
Loved grandfather of Christopher, Brandy, Chelsea, Nicole, Tyler, Amelia and Shia.
Great grandfather of Julius and Grace
Ali is also survived by his nieces Neslihan (Ishkander), Didem (Selim) and great nieces Hande and Alin.
Predeceased by his two brother and three sisters.   
 Ali lived the first years of his life in Turkiye and moved to Canada as a NATO pilot during the 1950's and married and raised a family with Nora. He retired from 3M in the early 1990's after many decades as a multi - year recipient of 3M’s Top Ten Contributors Award.
The family wold like to thank the staff at LHSC and Mount Hope - Marian Villa for their compassionate care of Ali during his time with them. 
There will be a private service at Woodland Cemetery on Thursday January 19th, 2023.
