Amandio Carvalho

Suddenly on Tuesday, August 6th, 2024 at Alexandra Hospital, Ingersoll with his wife at his side, at the age of 72, Amandio Carvalho passed into the arms of God.

Amandio will be missed dearly by his wife Maria de Lourdes (Oliveira).

Dearest father of Tina Melo (Jesse), Bela Franze (Frank) and Lena Gabriel (Tom).

Much loved grandfather of Skyla, Brooklyn, Logan, Mason, Maddix, Kaydence and Nova. 

Predeceased by his parents Licinio and Leonilda as well as his brother Celestino.

Amandio was a champion for prostate cancer research and dedicated many years to hosting a fundraising gala for this cause. In his earlier years, he loved teaching Portuguese Folk Dancing, was a member of the Portuguese marching band, and volunteered many years at the Portuguese Club of London. In his later years, you could find him cheering on his grandchildren.

Visitors will be received on Sunday, August 11, 2024 from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. in the O’Neil Funeral Home, 350 William St., London.The Funeral Service will be celebrated in the O’Neil Funeral Home, 350 William St. London, on Monday, August 12, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. Followed by interment in St. Peter’s cemetery, London, ON.
