Peacefully, with her family at her side, at Victoria Hospital on Monday, September 7, 2009, Annie Melzer in her 72nd year.
Beloved wife of 53 years to John Melzer. Cherished mother of Deborah and Jim Freitas. Loving grandmother of Johnathon, Taylor, Karighan and Kayla. Also survived by her brother Hielke and Jean Berends of Hensall, and her sister Willie and Bill Yule of Lucan, and her brother-in-law Adolph Melzer and family in Germany and Holland. Annie will also be missed by her nephews Robert and Wayne Berends and Stephen and Chris Yule. Predeceased by her son David Melzer.
A Memorial Service will be held in the O'Neil Funeral Home, 350 William St. on Friday, September 11, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. with the Rev. Kathy Wreford officiating. Private interment in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
