Antonio Oliveira Alves

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Antonio (Tony) Oliveira Alves at the age of 90 after many months of failing health. Antonio passed away peacefully at home with his beloved wife of 58 years Margarida by his side. Antonio was born February 17th, 1934 in Castelo Branco Horta Faial Acores 

Portugal. Antonio will be lovingly remembered by his daughters; Nancy (Mike) and Marlene, his grandchildren who he was very proud of; Jade, Taylor, Tristan (Jeff), Skylar (Dustin), Tyler, Faith, Maci and his great granddaughters who brought him much joy; Mckinley, Emery, Isla, Lily and Aria. They will all cherish the time they had with their Vavo Tony. 

Antonio will also be dearly missed by his brother-in-law Joe (Normanda) and his sister-in-law Madeline (Raymond). Antonio's many nieces, nephews, cousins, Godchildren and friends will think of him fondly and with great admiration. Antonio will finally be reunited with his parents Manuel and Maria Emilia, his siblings Maria Emilia (Manuel), Manuel (Aida)and Maria Amelia (Joe) along with all other family members and friends that passed before him- they happily await to see him again.

Visitors will be received in the O’Neil Funeral Home, 350 William St., London on Tuesday January 7th,  2025 from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be celebrated in the O’Neil Funeral Home, Wednesday January 8th 2025 at 11:00 a.m. followed by entombment at St. Peter’s Cemetery, 806 Victoria Street., London Ontario.
