Antonio Bigotti, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully. Born on October 3, 1933, in Venosa, Italy, Antonio was a skilled craftsman who dedicated his life to his work and family.
Antonio was the cherished husband of Filomena Bigotti, with whom he shared a deep and abiding love. He was a devoted father to his three sons: Blas Bigotti, married to Carmela, with their son Anthony; Marcello Bigotti, married to Irina, with their children Sebastian and Bianca; and Claudio Bigotti, married to Antoinette, with their daughter Sandra. Antonio was the son of the late Biaggio Bigotti and Disabatto Maria Carmela.
His Catholic faith was a cornerstone of his life, guiding him through his days with grace and humility.A man of many talents, Antonio found joy in gardening and crafting beautiful items from wood. He took great pride in maintaining the Italian traditions of wine and sausage making, which he lovingly passed down to his family.
Antonio was at his happiest during large family gatherings and meals, where his warmth and generosity shone brightly.Antonio’s legacy of love, craftsmanship, and tradition will live on in the hearts of his family and all who knew him.
He will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by his wife, children, grandchildren, brother, sister and friends and relatives.
Visitors will be received on Friday, 26 July, 2024, from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m., with Prayers in the Chapel at 4:00 p.m., in the O’Neil Funeral Home, 350 William St., London.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Mary’s Church, York at Lyle Streets, on Saturday, 27 July, at 10:00 a.m., and will also be live streamed at the same time at: https://st-marys-rc-church.click2stream.com/
