After a long and courageous battle with cancer, at Victoria Hospital, London, on Tuesday, April 17, 2012, Antonio Marques de Almeida in his 79th year. Beloved husband of Isolina de Almeida. Dear father of Odette Reeve, Natalina Laranjo (Carlos) and Paula de Almeida. Loving grandfather of Michael, Kevin, Rick, Danny, Luis, Pedro and Connie. Also survived by two sisters and two brothers in Europe. Visitors will be received in the O'Neil Funeral Home, 350 William St., on Thursday from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Holy Cross Church (Elm St. at Hamilton Rd.) on Friday at 11:00 a.m. Interment St. Peter's Cemetery, London. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
