Arnold William Mallett

Peacefully at Parkwood Veterans Care Program, with his family at his side, on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 Arnold William Mallett in his 97th year. Predeceased by his beloved wife Helen Ann Mallett (nee: Truax) in 2014. Loving father of Heather Mallett, Arlene Koncan (Vasja) and Tom Mallett. Dear grandfather of Josh Mallett. Arnold is also survived by many nieces and nephews in England. Predeceased by his son Eric (2009), his parents Arthur and Martha, his sisters Olive, Ruby and Dorothy. At the age of 17 Arnold was faced with the choice to work in the coal mines or join the British Army Infantry. He served 4 years with the British Army during WW2, and was part of the greatest generation. The family would like to thank the staff at Parkwood Veterans Care and his family doctor Dr. Anna Pawelec - Brzychczy for their kindness and care of Arnold.
