Barbara Anne Bernat

Peacefully, at Victoria Hospital, London, on Wednesday, August 24, 2011, Barbara Anne (Holomek) Bernat in her 58th year, attended by her beloved companion John Warzecha and Marie Sajecki and Elizabeth Miller. Loving mother of Kristian (Sharmane), Yolanda (Steve), Carl (Jessica), Daniel (Amber) and Matthew (Krista). Grandmother of Paxton. Predeceased by her parents Wladyslaw "Laddie" Holomek (1981) and Bronislawa Holomek (August 13, 2011). One of Barbara's greatest pleasures was tending her beautiful garden. As an E.A. in the LDCSB, she touched the hearts and lives of many students and teachers. The nurses of the Palliative Care unit at Victoria Hospital did a remarkable job in making her last days as comfortable as possible. Visitors will be received in the O'Neil Funeral Home, 350 William St., on Friday from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 419 Hill St., on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. Interment St. Peter's Cemetery, London. Prayers Friday at 8:30 p.m.
