Comfortably, surrounded by his family, on Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at Alexandra Hospital, Ingersoll, ON., William John Manser in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of Janet Manser (nee: Ische). Dear father of Bonita Lydon (Michael), Marcus Manser, Rouanne Manser (Jon Moore) and Heather Beedie (Brian). Loving and proud grandfather of Nathan and Mikyla Moore, Chris, Simon and Adrian Cartmale and Cody and Leah Beedie. Great-grandfather of Amelia Cartmale. Cherished brother of Denise, Douglas and Sharon. Predeceased by parents Annie and William Reid and his brothers Joe and Richard Reid. Bill was born in London, ON and grew up in Windsor, ON. He worked as a draftsman and engineer for several companies in southwestern Ontario, retiring from Accuride Industries in London. Bill had a variety of hobbies, woodworking and making toys for grandkids, wood burning and most recently Ancestry/family research after finding 2 long lost siblings. Bill was also very proud of his service with the Cadet Instructor Cadre, working with Army and Sea cadets and completing his Basic Officer Qualification Course at the age of 50.
