It is with great sorrow after years of battling heart disease, Mom (Nonna) died peacefully surrounded by her family at University Hospital, London on Thursday, July 26, 2018 in her 89th year. She has gone to be with God. Beloved wife of Orlando for 64 years. Loving mother of Mari Caterina Depierro (Mike), Rosanna D'Amico (John). Cherished Nonna of Michael Depierro (Heather), David Depierro (Kristy), Marco Giorgini (Anna), Nicolas Giorgini (Brittany) and great-grand daughter Ella. Caterina was the 4th daughter of the 7 girls of Maria and Domenico Aragona. Many thanks to the palliative care team at LHSC University Hospital for unwavering compassion, and medical care, especially Dr. Sharon Koivu, Wendy McEwen, and the dedicated nursing staff. Visitors will be received in the O'Neil Funeral Home, 350 William Street, London on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Mary's Church, 345 Lyle at York on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at 11:00 a.m., followed by entombment in St. Peter's Cemetery, London. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Palliative Care Team at LHSC University Hospital, London
