Christina Mary Heffernan

With great sadness, the Heffernan family announces the passing of Christina (Ciss) Mary Heffernan (Shanley) on November 28th, 2024, just days before her 102nd Birthday. Born and raised in Blackrock, Ireland, she met and married the love of her life Larry Heffernan (pre-deceased 1999). Loving and devoted mother of the late Deirdre (Billy) Jones, Brendan (Bonnie) Heffernan, Patricia Finch, Joan (John) Godwin, Rita (Karl) Stafford, Christine de Roux, Mary (Jim) Niemiec, Gerry (Jackie) Heffernan and Nick (Catherine) Heffernan. Nanny had a special place in her heart for each one of her 24 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren. The love and memories she created with her family and friends here will be cherished forever. We know that she will continue to hold us in her hearts as we will hold her in ours. Earlier this year Christina became a resident of Marian Villa. The family would like to thank the 5th floor staff for the wonderful and personal care you provided .

Visitors will be received on Tuesday, December 3rd, 2024 from 4:00  to 7:00 p.m. in the O’Neil Funeral Home, 350 William St., London.The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Patrick’s Church, 377 Oakland Ave, on Wednesday, December 4th at 11:00 a.m..
