At Victoria Hospital, London, on Sunday, August 22, 2010, Claudio Tarrataca in his 74th year. Beloved husband of Arminda. Dear father of Luis (Shannon) and the late John Tarrataca (2009). Also loved by his daughter-in-law Isabel Ventura and his grandchildren Cassandra, Emma, Sarah, Maddie, Filipe and Sydney. Survived by his sisters Maria, Cecilia, Maria dos Anjos and his brother Carlos, all of Portugal. Predeceased by his brothers Manuel and Joao. Visitors will be received in the O'Neil Funeral Home, 350 William St., on Tuesday from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Holy Cross Church (Elm at Hamilton Rd.) on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. Interment St. Peter’s Cemetery, London. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
