Concetta Hrycyna

It is with deep sadness the family of Concetta Hrycyna (nee: DiMillo) announces her passing at the LHSC University Hospital in London on February 24, 2020. Born in Pretoro, Chieti, Italy on December 2nd, 1936. Beloved wife of the late Joe (Jaroslaw) Hrycyna. Loving mother of Barbara and Rick Hrycyna. Cherished grandmother of Nicolas and Arianna Carlucci, missed by their father Felice Carlucci. Daughter of the late Antonio DiMillo and Letizia DiFederico. Survived by her brothers Settimio and Bruno (Anna), and her sister-in-law Maria. Predeceased by her siblings Maria, Vittorio, Giuseppe, Yolanda and Sergio, and in-laws Stanley, Francesca, Scilla, Antonio and Anna. Zia Concetta will be lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephews in Canada, the U.S., and Italy, as well as good friends, especially Elisabeth DiLoreto. Visitors will be received in the O'Neil Funeral Home, 350 William Street, London on Friday, February 28, 2020 from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Michael's Church,511 Cheapside at Maitland on Saturday, February 29, 2020 at 12:00 noon, followed by entombment in St. Peter's Cemetery, London.
