Donnie drove truck for 25 years, primarily for Inter-City Papers and Darling International, and loved every minute of it. He was a three-time cancer survivor, loving life for 23 years after his first diagnosis. Donnie always had a smile on his face, and was more than happy to talk to friends and strangers alike. He was a social butterfly who knew every dog in his apartment building, and even some of their owners! Donnie always put family first, and he was the centre of any family event. He was a great storyteller, and some of those stories were even true!
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Canadian Cancer Society.
Visitors will be received in the O’Neil Funeral Home, 350 William St., London on Monday, April 1, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Service at 12:00 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home, followed by interment in Woodland Cemetery, London.
