Elizbieta Andrus

Elizbieta (Liz) Andrus, of Atlanta Georgia passed suddenly in London, England on Saturday, April 17th 2010 in her 50th year. She is survived by her loving husband of almost 30 years Christopher Andrus, and her sons Ryan (Los Angeles, CA) and Brendan (Fort Walton Beach, FL). She is also survived by her mother, Sabina Stepnowski of Delaware, her brother Karol Stepnowski of Bowmanville, her sister Anna Godau of Aylmer, and her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Paul and Lenora Andrus of Belleville (all of Ontario). Liz is predeceased by her father, Kazimierz Stepnowski. "Aunt Liz" will be missed by Sabina and Konnor Godau (Aylmer, ON), Kyle and Kameel Stepnowski (Bowmanville, ON), Corey Canfield-Andrus, Kyle and Amanda Andrus, and Ashley Andrus, (all of NS).Liz is a graduate of Dalhousie University in Halifax (1982) and has held progressively senior positions in Information Technology Management in Ontario including the DuPont Company and Ontario Hydro. From to 1998 to 2009, Liz was employed by the Coca-Cola Company in Atlanta and most recently, Liz was a Vice President with Avon Cosmetics in New York. She was "a classy lady" who was well respected as a leader by her employers and colleagues and she was a role model to all who knew her.When she wasn't working, Liz enjoyed travel and cooking and she tolerated riding her "bicycle built for two" with her husband because she knew it was good for her. Liz's favorite place in the world was the back porch of her mountain home in the North Georgia Mountains where she could watch the mountain forest and listen to the creek roar over the falls below. Her family remembers her as the person who made us all what we are. Visitors will be received in the O'Neil Funeral Home, 350 William St., London, ON., on Tuesday, April 27, 2010, from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 419 Hill St. London, ON., on Wednesday at 11 a.m. Private family Interment.
