At Victoria Hospital on Sunday, May 22, 2011, Elviro CarvalhoBrandao in his 97th year. Beloved husband of the late Maria da Conceicao Barbosa (2008). Loving father of Antonio M. Brandao (Yvonette) of Brazil, Maria Natalia Soares (David), Maria da Luz Raposo (Antonio), all of London, and Maria Nascinmento Medeiros of Brazil. Also loved by twelve grandchildren and twenty-four great-grandchildren. Survived by many nieces and nephews in Canada and Brazil. Visitors will be received on Tuesday from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. in the O’Neil Funeral Home, 350 William St. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. in Holy Cross Church, (Elm St. At Hamilton Rd.). Interment St. Peter’s Cemetery.
