Emily Marshall

The family of Emily Marshall is saddened to announce her passing at 29-years-old. She died peacefully, surrounded by loved ones on the afternoon of June 28th, 2022 after a hard-fought battle with Ewing Sarcoma. Emily will be lovingly remembered by her mother Kate and stepdad Tracy Collins; father Alan Marshall; sisters Sarah, Catherine and Rachèle; niece Violet and nephew Eli; and many caring family members and friends. She is now with her cancer buddy Jax and grandpa Paddy in a better place. Emily used her strong voice and beautiful writing to tell her story, and she touched the lives of many through the online community she created. She will live on through her “Wonky Arm” blog and our memories of her crafty wit, dad jokes, and fun-loving approach to life. We invite Emily’s friends and loved ones to join her family for a drop-in reception to celebrate her life on Thursday, July 7, 2022 from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the Garden Room of the Ivey-Spencer Leadership Centre, 551 Windermere Rd, London. In lieu of flowers, it is Emily's wish that any memorial tributes be made in the form of charitable donations to the Pink Pearl Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society. Both of these foundations were instrumental to Emily's strength and spirit through her cancer journey.
