At University Hospital, after a long struggle and with his family at his side, on Monday, December 21, 2009, Emmanuel “Sunny” Harmsworth in his 78th year. Beloved husband of Carmen Harmsworth. Dear father of Tom Harmsworth, Melita Cronin (Wayne), Dolores Harmsworth (Paul Kleiber) and Evelyn Rowles (Ken Lee). Loving grandfather of Brenda (Mike Raposo), Melissa McArthur (fiance Mike Capstick), Jennifer Rowles (Pierre-Carl Dion), Danielle Nickerson, Christopher and Kyle Cronin. Great-grandfather of Joshua, Brieann and Luke. Sunny is also survived by his brother Roger (Katherine) and his sister Vivian. Visitors will be received in the O’Neil Funeral Home, 350 William St., on Sunday, December 27, from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. John the Divine Church, 390 Baseline Rd. W. on Monday at 10:00 a.m. Interment St. Peter’s Cemetery. Prayers Sunday at 2:00 p.m. In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
