Eugene Walczak

Peacefully, with his family by his side, at Victoria Hospital, London, on Tuesday, January 3, 2023,  Eugene Walczak in his 96th  year.   Beloved husband of the late  Mary Walczak (2020). Loving father of Wanda, Nicholas (Dana) and Emily Seeley (Brian). Dear grandfather of Chelsey (Tyler), Damian, Zachary, Nicholas (our angel), Benjamin, Ella, Marin and great-grandfather of Sophie. Also survived by his nieces and nephews, Valerie, Teresa, Bob, Geoff, Angie, Elizabeth, Margaret, Sarah, Kevin, Aaron, Anna and Joseph. Predeceased by his  siblings Valerie Cox, Stella Nash and Mary Atkinson.  Eugene loved his family passionately, was extremely personable to all that he came in contact with and was a very positive individual. Eugene was a valued member of the Canadian Armed Forces for 21 years.  The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to all the staff at Westmount Gardens and Victoria Hospital D6 for all the excellent compassionate care that Eugene received. Visitors will be received in the O’Neil Funeral Home, 350 William St., London on Friday, January 6,  2023  from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Patrick’s Church, 1251 Dundas St., London, on Saturday, January 7, 2023  at 11:00 a.m., followed by interment in St. Peter’s Cemetery, London.
