At University Hospital on Wednesday, December 15, 2009, Fernando Vicencia Carreira at the age of 65 years. Beloved husband of Maria Carreira. Loving father of Sandra Carreira-Parsons (Shawn). Dear Grandfather of Noah and Savannah. Most loved son of Gertrudes and the late Adelino Carreira. Also survived by many brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews in Canada and Portugal. Visitors will be received in the O'Neil Funeral Home, 350 William St., on Friday from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Holy Cross Church, (Elm St. at Hamilton Rd.) on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. Interment St. Peters Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
