At his residence in London, with his family at his side, on Saturday, July 16, 2011, Fernando Soares Melo in his 86th year. Beloved husband of the late Teresinha "Teresa" Melo (2007). Dear father of Fern Almeida (Claudio) and Carlos Melo (Leonore) both of London. Loving grandfather of Clyde Almeida Jr., Lisa Marie Caeiro (Nuno) and Kyle Melo. Great-grandfather of Madison Almeida, Jacob Almeida, Ethan Caeiro. Also survived by his sister Maria Fatima DeMelo and many nieces and nephews. Visitors will be received in the O'Neil Funeral Home, 350 William St., on Tuesday from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Holy Cross Church, (Elm at Hamilton Rd.) on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. Entombment St. Peter's Cemetery, London. Prayers Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.
