Peacefully at University Hospital on Monday, December 22nd, 2008, “Frank” Francis Xavier Cassar in his 79th year. Beloved husband of “Josie” Josephine Cassar. Loving father of Rebecca Court of Richmond Hill and Mark Cassar (Teresa) of Delhi. Dear grandfather of Ashley, Raven, Tamara and Clayton,(Ashley and Robert) and great-grandfather of Xavier. Brother of Tony Cassar of London, Rosie Baertsoen (Norbert) of Wallaceburg, Vera Wade, Marion Chisolm (David), Joyce Williamson (Ivan), all of London. Brother-in-law of Mary Farrugia of Australia and Mary Farrugia of Malta. Predeceased by his sisters Doris Sammut and Lina Vella and his brother George Cassar. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitors will be received on Friday from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m in the O’Neil Funeral Home, 350 William St. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. in St. Patrick’s Church, (Dundas at Oakland). Entombment St. Peter’s Cemetery. Prayers Friday at 7:00 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation. Special thanks to the supportive staff on the 7th floor of University Hospital.
