Gertrude Darling

Peacefully, at Westmount Gardens, London, on Friday, October 14, 2022, Gertrude (nee: Druar) Darling in her 95th year. Beloved wife of the late Willis James Darling (2019). Loving mother of Donald (Cora), George, Linda (Denis), John (Lynn), Mary (Rick), Robert (Rosie) and Jennifer. Dear grandmother of thirteen and great-grandmother of nine. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Joseph and Margaret (Krauskopf) Druar, her sisters Anne Tomlin, Monica McClurg, Leona Steinberg and her brother Fredrick Druar. Gertrude was an avid gardener and had been an active volunteer at St. Pius X grade school, a member of the CWL and sang in the Mary Immaculate Funeral Choir. Visitors will be received in the O'Neil Funeral Home, 350 William St., London. on Thursday, October 20, 2022 from 9:00 - 10:30 a.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Mary Immaculate Church, 1980 Trafalgar at Admiral, London, on Thursday, October 20, 2022 at 11:00 a.m; followed by interment in St. Peter's Cemetery, London.
