Peacefully, at University Hospital, London, on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 Helena Chorostecka in her 86th year. Beloved wife of Jozef Chorostecki. Dear mother of Ursula Bladek (Joe), Tadeusz Chorostecki (Maria), Mieczyslaw Chorostecki (Ewa) and Ryszard Chorostecki (Dorota). Loving grandmother of Joe, Christopher, Paul, Karol, Adam, Mark, Julia, Natalie, Donimica, Caroline, Joanna, Claudia and Matthew, and great-grandmother of Joshua, Amelia and James. Cherished sister of Jan and Stanislaw Burghardt. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Helena was a librarian for many years, she enjoyed her family and especially her grand children. Helena took great pleasure in instructing everyone in the art of making her wonderful pirogies. "You battled long and hard, your fight is now over, you can rest. May You Rest in Sweetest Peace knowing how loved you are always". Visitors will be received in the O'Neil Funeral Home, 350 William Street, London on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 from 9:00 to 10:45 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 419 Hill St. London, on Wedneday, August 22, 2018 at 11:00 a.m., followed by interment in St. Peter's Cemetery, London.
