Herbert Thomas Mcintyre

Peacefully at his residence in London on Saturday, February 2, 2019, Herbert "Herb" Thomas McIntyre, in his 90th year. Beloved husband of Margaret McIntyre of 54 years. Dear father of Joseph (Liz) of Round Rock, Texas, Susan Tracy (Robert) and Jeffrey (Diane). Loving grandfather of Joseph, Lindsay Bockwinkel (Ollie), Caitlin Gunitskiy (Ariel), Cassandra Lloyd (Taylor), Ashley McIntyre and Robert Jr., Adam and Michael Tracy. Great-grandfather of Thomas and John Bockwinkel and Madison Lloyd. Son of the late John and Emma McIntyre of Kouchibougac, New Brunswick. Herb is survived by his sisters-in-law Stella and Gladys McIntyre and Sylvia Murphy (John) all of New Brunswick, Evelyn Froats of Cornwall, ON and Maureen Copeskey (Bob) of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee. Herb is also survived by his brother-in-law Shirley Hogan (Irene) of New Brunswick. Herb will also be missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his sisters Loretta Morley and Mary McIntyre and his brothers and their wives; Martin, John (Edna), Ralph (Willie), Walter (Audrey), Lee, George (Ida), Clarence (Ida) and Robert (Louise). Also predeceased by his brothers and sisters-in-law; Wilson Hogan (Muriel), George Hogan (Betty) and John Hogan (Rita) all of New Brunswick, Michael Quinn and Dale Froats.


Visitors will be received in the O'Neil Funeral Home, 350 William Street, London on Tuesday, from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Mary's Church, 345 Lyle Street at York, on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m., followed by interment in St. Peter's Cemetery, London.
