Peacefully in her sleep at Mount Hope (Marion Villa) Long Term Care London, on Friday December 6, 2013 Hilda Frances (nee Dryburgh) Hilton in her 94th year decided it was time for her to join her beloved Jack (1987) her husband of 42 years. Hilda is survived by her 4 children, John (Catherine Patterson) Hilton of Toronto ON, Susan Hilton of Oakville ON, Deni(se) (Dirk) Hilton-Wyatt of Sidney BC and Steve Hilton of Vancouver BC. Hilda was a loved grandmother to Jeremy (Karen Webster) Hilton of Vancouver BC, Sarah (Sebastian Salole) Pyne of Toronto ON, Brendan (Heather) Pyne of Toronto ON, Adam (Minjoo) Pyne of Toronto ON, Ashleigh Pyne of Toronto ON as well and she was a great-grandmother to Samuel Hilton - Webster of Vancouver BC. She was also a special aunt to Norma Roman. Hilda was predeceased by her sister Angela Barrett (2003) and her niece Gillian McIntyre (2011). Hilda was a Corporal in the British Women's Army Core during WW2, working at Bletchley Park, London England. When Hilda came to Canada she spent 25 more years as a civilian worker at Wolesley Barracks here in London. Visitors will be received in the O'Neil Funeral Home, 350 William St., on Tuesday December 10, 2013 from 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. George Roman Catholic Church, 1164 Commissioner's Rd. W. on Wednesday December 11, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. Interment St. Peter's Cemetery London.
