Idalina Teixeira Goncalves

Peacefully, with her family by her side, at University Hospital, London, on Monday, July 31, 2023, Idalina Teixeira Goncalves passed into eternal rest at the age of 87. Beloved wife of Claudino for 66 years. Dear mother of Alice (João) Castelhano and Madalena (Paulo) Marques. Loving grandmother of Roberto (Lisa) Castelhano, Jorge (Laura) Castelhano, Tania Marques, Daniela Marques and great-grandmother of Olivia, Matea, Vivien and Ruben. Cherished  sister of Manuel Paquete (Lurdes). Also survived by nieces, nephews and extended family in Canada, France, USA, and Portugal. Predeceased by her parents Jesuvina de Jesus Teixeira and Manuel Joaquim Paquete and her sister Maria Augusta Teixeira Paquete (Silverio). Visitors will be received at O’Neil Funeral Home, 350 William St., London on Wednesday, August 2, 2023  from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Cross Church, 10 Elm St. on Thursday, August 3, 2023  at 11:00 a.m. followed by entombment at St. Peter’s Cemetery, London. At  the families request  there will be no visitation at the Funeral Home on Thursday morning, visitors are asked to go directly to the church.
