Ilda Soares de melo Jardim

At her home in London on Saturday, December 7, 2013, Ilda Soares de Melo Jardim Alfonso in her 80th year. Beloved mother of Antonio De Melo, Alice Couto (Bruce), Elmira Eden (Rick), Alda De Melo (Steve), Ilda Martin (Joe) and Aires De Melo (Lisa). Sister of Americo De Melo (Frances), Elmira Macedo and Vitalina Galante. Ilda was also loved by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Antonio Silveiro Jardim (21 December 2011). Visitors will be received in the O'Neil Funeral Home, 350 William St. on Tuesday from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Holy Cross Church (Elm St. at Hamilton Rd.) on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. followed by interment in St. Peter's Cemetery, London.
