ROSBACK - Inger Margareta, M.D., M.Div.
Born December 11, 1943 in Helsingfors, Finland, Dr. Inger Margareta Rosback M.D., M.Div., passed away at Parkwood Hospital on Tuesday, September 2, 2009. As Inger herself wrote “after a long battle with cancer - I lost.”
Inger will be sadly missed by her sister Benita Laskey, her niece Elsa Arnold (Derrick), and her great-niece Kimberlyn, all of London. Also loved by her sister-in-law and niece Peggy and Catherine Rosback of Toronto, her niece Christina Tripp (Harry), and great-nephews Stig and Max, all of Trenton, ON.
Visitors will be received in the O’Neil Funeral Home, 350 William St. on Friday from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated in St. Michael’s Church, (515 Cheapside St. at Maitland) on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. Private interment in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Prayers Friday at 7:30 p.m.
Inger also wrote: “My profound thanks to all who have helped me on the journey to my Father’s house, especially Fr. Michael Prieur and Mary Taylor, Dr. Ian Kerr and Dr. Catherine Walsh, the staff of Parkwood Hospital and CCAC., my hospice volunteer Susan, and my loving family.... most of all, thanks be to God.”
In lieu of flowers, contributions to St. Peter’s Seminary Foundation (519-432-1824) or to Wellspring Cancer Support Centre (519-438-7379) would be greatly appreciated.
