At St. Joseph's Life Care Centre, Brantford, Ontario, on Sunday, December 20, 2009, Jan John Bera in his 86th year. Dear father of Richard Bera (Brenda), Alice Koziej, and Janice Pietro. Loving grandfather of Matthew Bera, Stephanie Goves, Andrea Ward, Paul Koziej and Adam Kadimoke. Great-grandfather of Ethan, James, Sasha and Ben. Predeceased by his son Chester Bera (2009). Jan was a WW II Veteran who proudly served under British command in the Polish 2nd Corps, and a proud Canadian Citizen since 1952. Jan's family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 22, 2009, in the O'Neil Funeral Home, 350 William St., London from 10:30 a.m. until time of the Funeral Service which will be conducted in the Chapel at 12:00 Noon. Interment St. Peters Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to St. Joseph's Lifecare Centre, Brantford, ON, 99 Wayne Gretzky Parkway, Brantford, ON N3S 6T6, or to a charity of choice.
