January 10, 1939 - February 24, 2018
John Edward Truman Bonnell was born on January 10th, 1939 in Saint John, New Brunswick to Eldon White Bonnell and Alma Edna (Bean) Bonnell. Known for being a loving, caring, generous man who was always there to help anyone when they needed him, he also loved to have fun. He had a great sense of humour and his distinct deep laugh was contagious. Driving was his life and he travelled across Canada in his early years before becoming an LTC bus driver and eventually a fuel transport driver for Shell Canada. John was predeceased by his soul mate Beryl Doreen (Phillips) Bonnell in 1992. He will be sadly missed and forever loved by his family that includes his children Carrie (Bonnell) Alden (Steve), his cherished granddaughters Mallory White (Jason) & Kailey Alden (Christopher Evans) of Witney, United Kingdom and his adorable great-grandsons Emerson Henry White and Lewis Alden White. Lovingly remembered by his dedicated friend Ron Moore and his extensive family of caregivers at Henley Place, London. At the request of the family there will be no visitation; burial service will be private. Donations to the Alzheimer's society in John's memory would be greatly appreciated
