John Bernard Palmer

1951 — January 1, 2022

The Palmer family is very saddened to announce the passing of Jack Palmer on January 2nd at the age of 70. Cherished husband of Dorothy for 45 years. Devoted father of JJ (Sarah) and Jim (Clara); loving grandfather of William, John, and Ben. Also survived by his brother Stephen (Adrianna) and his sister Michelle (Paul), his mother-in-law Rita Gillespie and brother-in-law Patrick Gillespie. Predeceased by his parents, John and Cauleen.
Jack taught with the London District Catholic School Board for over 30 years and was an instructor at Western University's Faculty of Education. He particularly enjoyed curling and was so happy to be back on the ice this past autumn. Jack also loved F1 racing, puns, trivia, and Star Trek.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Peter's Basilica, 196 Dufferin Ave, London, on Saturday, January 8, at 11:00 a.m. Friends and family are invited to watch the live stream of the Funeral Mass at https://youtu.be/Yht12EI3aks
Private interment at a later date.
The family wishes to especially thank the staff of CCTC at LHSC ~ their caring and compassion were much appreciated at this difficult time. Also, the ongoing support of friends was a tremendous help during the past month.
