Jose Rocha Elias

Peacefully, with his family by his side, at Victoria Hospital, London, on Sunday, June 11, 2023, Jose Rocha Elias in his 82nd year.  Beloved husband of Ana, married for 55 years. Jose was born in Lomba da Louça, Povoação, São Miguel, Açores, Portugal.   Dear father of Mario Lino Elias, Nelson Elias and Rick Elias (Rachel).  Loving grandfather of Matthew Elias, Isaac Elias, Vanessa Elias and Lucas Elias.  Great-grandfather of Isabella. Cherished brother of Gilda Melo, Manuel Rocha Elias and Luisa Almeida (Manuel).  Also survived by nieces, nephews and extended family.  Predeceased by his brother Gilbert Elias.  Jose was known as the most avid Benfica fan.  He was a very polite, sweet man who always put his family first.  Jose loved being a grandfather and he will be really missed by his youngest grandson Lucas who loved to sit with him, go for car rides, eat two ice creams a day and the two were inseparable.   Visitors will be received in the O’Neil Funeral Home, 350 William St., London on Thursday, June 15,  2023  from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m.  The Funeral Service will be celebrated in the O’Neil Funeral Home, 350 William St. London, Friday, June 16, 2023 at 11:00 a.m.  Online condolences & Guest Book at www.oneilfuneralhome.ca
