Jozef Magier

Peacefully, with his family by his side, at the Dearness Home, on Sunday, August 6, 2017 Jozef "Joseph" Magier in his 92nd year. Beloved husband of Janina for 67 years. Dear father of Zbigniew Magier (Ula) the late (Halina) (2009), Vicky Fontana (Joseph), Joseph Magier (2000) (Donna) and Elizabeth Chelchowski (Ted). Loving grandfather of Natalia, Robert, Paulina, Daniel, Kristopher, Derek, Ursula, Michael, Jennifer, Monika, Nikki and Andrea. Great-grandfather of Ania, David, Olivia, Dominica, Halina, Daniel, Mathew, Nikolas and Dominik. Jozef worked as a caretaker at UWO for over 30 years and was heavily involved in the Polish community during his stay in Canada since 1964. Visitors will be received in the O'Neil Funeral Home, 350 William Street, London on Wednesday, August 9, 2017 from 2:00 - 4:00 & 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of Cezestochowa Church, 419 Hill Street on Thursday, August 10, 2017 at 11:00 a.m., followed by interment in St. Peter's Cemetery. Prayers Wednesday at 7:00 p.m.
