OBIERSKI, Jozefa – October 20, 1925 to November 1, 2019 -- It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Jozefa Obierski at St. Joseph's Hospice, London, on Friday, November 1, 2019, with her family at her side. She was predeceased by her husband, Jozef (2015). Dear mother of Zdzislaw Gerry Obierski (Virginia) and Theresa Kaszowski (Ed). Much loved and adored Babcia of Katherine Kriwez (Joe) and Michael Kaszowski (Michelle). Babcia was so proud of her great granddaughters: Isabella and Cara Kriwez, Lucia Kaszowski, and the late infant Diana Kaszowski (2017). Jozefa is survived by her sister Eugenia Wieczor (late Czech) and brother Edward Kwolek (late Janina), both of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. Much loved aunt to many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Jozef and Karolina Kwolek. Visitors will be received in the O'NEIL FUNERAL HOME, 350 William Street, London, on Monday, November 4 from 3-6, with prayers at 4:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 419 Hill Street, London, on Tuesday, November 5 at 10 a.m., followed by entombment in the Holy Family Mausoleum, St. Peter's Cemetery, London. The family would appreciate donations in Jozefa's name to St. Joseph's Hospice, London, or to a charity of your choice. The family would like to thank the wonderful and compassionate care given to Jozefa at St. Joseph's Hospice and the Palliative/Complex Care Team (LHIN) of Dr. Kirk Hamilton and his staff.
