It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Julia Lussing, on Friday November 28th at Chelsea Park Nursing Home. Julia was the much loved Mother of Frank and his wife Barb, Lis and her husband Tony Baston, Judy and her husband Geoff Garden, Sylvia and her husband Richard May, Steve, and Karin and her husband Paul Milton; the adored Oma of Tisha and her husband Wes Paster, Ryan, Jenny and her husband Will Cooper, and Andrea Lussing; Andrew, Kate, Heidy, and Tessa Baston; Chris, Matthew, and Sander Garden; Eric, Lindsay and Stuart May; and Ian and Alison Milton. She was the cherished Omama to her great grandchildren Keiran, Caleigh, and Maya Paster. She will be sadly missed by her sisters Jacoba Otten of London Ontario, Marian Turk and Trees van der Zeeuw and their families in Holland as well as numerous nieces and nephews and other relations in Holland. Julia was a cherished friend of many here in London. They will miss her companionship that was shared over many cups of tea and coffee. Julia was a knitter, a stained glass artist, a painter, a green thumb gardener, a wonderful cook and baker and she leaves that legacy in the hands of her children. Despite her many trials and hardships, she loved life and persevered. She loved and was loved for many decades and she will be sadly missed by many. The memory of her loving smile will always be bright. Donations will be appreciated to The Alzheimer’s Society ( www.alzheimer.ca ) and The Canadian Cancer Society ( www.cancer.ca ) .
