Kathleen Margaret Brown

Our dear Kathy passed away suddenly at Windermere on the Mount in London, Ontario. Beloved wife of Robert (Bob) Brown. Loving mother of Peter (Margaret Campbell-Brown). Dear grandma of Sara and Mary. Kathy was born in Winnipeg to Eldon and Margaret (Thorne) Simms and was predeceased by her only brother Don Simms. She is remembered fondly by her sister-in-law Vi and her nieces and nephews Thomas, Lorna, Robert and Marilyn and their families. Kathy obtained a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Manitoba and went on to obtain a Bachelor of Education. She taught high school in many places including towns in Manitoba, St. Catharines, Ontario, Oromocto, New Brunswick and in England. Bob and Kathy left friends behind in Oromocto, in Bathurst, in Fort McMurray and in Edmonton before settling in London to be near their grandchildren. Cremation has taken place. A service will be held at St. George's Anglican Church at a later date followed by internment at Woodland Cemetery. Donations in memory of Kathy may be made to the charity of your choice.
