Sister was born in 1929, entered the community in 1949 and lived her vowed commitment for 64 years. Lovingly remembered by her Sisters in community, her twin sister Leona Curle, sisters-in-law Nellie, Arline, Ollie, and many nieces and nephews. Sister Lenora engaged in the ministry of teaching for over 20 years primarily with the Edmonton Separate School Board. Returning to London in 1973 Lenora lived into the challenges of failing health, focusing her energy on helpful assignments within the community and caring for persons in need. We celebrate the gift she has been to us, modeling acceptance of life's challenges with deep confidence in our loving God, whom she addressed as the "Wounded Healer". We are grateful to Sr. Kateri Ghesquiere and our Care Centre staff for their professional care and patterns of kindness throughout Sister Lenora's years among us.
