Peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospice, London on Wednesday, October 25th, 2023, Leonarda “ Ela” Leszkowicz in her 89th year.
Dear wife of the late Jozef Leszkowicz (1999). Ela is also survived by her niece Helen and nephew Walter, as well as extended family in Poland and her Canadian family.
Ela is saying goodbye to her beloved brother Grzegorz and his family, as well as her extended family in Poland and her Canadian Family.
Ela was a proud and active member of Our Lady Czestochowa Church for many years. Ela often lead the rosary at church and was devoted to Mary. She was also often in the church kitchen making perogies.
Ela loved all people and she gave selflessly of her time to help those less fortunate than herself. She will be missed by the residents at Polonia Towers were she was a resident for over 20 years.
Visitors will be received on Monday, October 30, 2023 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. in the O’Neil Funeral Home, 350 William St., London.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 419 Hill St., on Tuesday, October 31 at 10:00 a.m. Followed by interment in St. Peter’s Cemetery, London, Ontario.
