Liduina Maria Bettencourt

It is with heavy hearts to share that Liduina Bettencourt at the age of 89, The Most Beautiful Woman On The Island, is finally free from Alzheimer’s.  Predeceased by her husband Vasco, her parents and several siblings including Jelsmina and Albertina (Edgardo).  Survived by her sisters Olimpia (João) and Laurinda.  Loving mother to Ana (Anthony), Joe (Brenda) and Emilio (Barbara).  Devoted grandmother to Krystina (John), David (Jessie), Alexander (Lynn), Brittany (Andrew), Andrew and Sebastien.  Great-grandmother to 9.  Proud “adopted” mother to Troy.  She will be missed by family, friends and all who knew her.  She loved food, and she loved to feed everyone, so please consider making a donation in memory of her by donating or volunteering at your food bank or soup kitchen.  Visitors will be received in the O’Neil Funeral Home, 350 William St., London on Friday, January 26,  2024  from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m.  The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Mary’s Church, 345 Lyle at York, on Friday, January 26, 2024  at 11:00 a.m. followed by interment in St. Peter’s Cemetery, London.  Online condolences & Guest Book at www.oneilfuneralhome.ca
