At Victoria Hosptal on Wednesday, August 19, 2009, Ligia da Gloria (Simas) Rodrigues in her 76th year. Beloved wife of Manuel dos Santos Rodrigues. Dear mother of Lourdes Simas (Luis), Joe Rodrigues (Sue), Louis Rodrigues (Angela), Maria De Melo, Lucy Moniz (Jose Carlos), and Tony Rodrigues (Margarida). Also survived by 14 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Sister of Joao Simas (Maria), Eduardo Simas (Maria Jose) and Estrela Simas. Predeceased by her son-in-law Daniel De Melo (February 2009), her
brothers Antonio and Manuel and her sister Zelia. Visitors will be received in the O'Neil Funeral Home, 350 William St. on Friday from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Holy Cross Church (Elm St. at Hamilton Rd.) on Saturday at 9:00 a.m. Interment St. Peter's Cemetery.
