On Tuesday, November 28, 2023 in her 90th year, peacefully with her family at her side, Madeline passed away and is now at rest. Predeceased by her husband of 66 years, Dan. Madeline is survived by her children Kathy Causarano (Pat), Tim and Dan (Katie). A very proud Grandma to Derek (Karen), Bryan (Eric), Jason (Britney), Steve (Amanda), Joanne (Dave), Spencer, Taylor, Cole, Jeff (Sarah) and Theresa (Dani). Loving Great-Grandma to Davin, Chase, Kendra, Joey, Eddie, Parker and Ari. Madeline is survived by her brothers Wilfred and John, sister Theresa and sister-in-law Barbara. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents Dennis and Meryl, her brothers Harvey, Louis (Iny) and Peter, brother-in-law Barry & sister-in-law Rosemary. Madeline was born the 4th of 7 children in her family, she learned the importance of faith, family and service at a young age. She found great comfort in her faith, as she and Dan settled into life at Holy Cross Parish in London while raising their 3 kids. Madeline spent many years volunteering at Holy Cross through her membership in the Catholic Women’s League. She was so very proud to receive her 65 year membership pin last year. She also spent many years volunteering in the community, including serving the less fortunate at the Sisters of St. Joseph Hospitality Centre. There was nothing Madeline loved more than to spend time with her family – the more the better! Whether it was late night card games with her siblings and in-laws, or having the entire family over for dinner. Madeline always loved being with her family. We expect she just joined into a rousing game of Solo with her brothers and parents in heaven.
