Loving father of Isilda Camarinha (Joao), Fatima Almeida (Alipio) and Rui Baptista (Helena). Cherished grandfather of 8 and great-grandfather of 5. Also survived by family in Brazil and Portugal. Predeceased by his son Jose Carlos Baptista (2003). Visitors will be received in the O'Neil Funeral Home, 350 William Street, on Wednesday from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Holy Cross Church (Elm St. & Hamilton Rd.) on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. Interment Mira, Portugal. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. Prayers Wednesday at 8 :00 p.m.
