Peacefully, surrounded by her family, at Middlesex Terrace Nursing Home on Thursday, March 25, 2010, Maria De Santis in her 85th year. Beloved wife of the late Loreto DeSantis (2001). Dear mother of Pierina Bartolotto (the late Tony - 2005), Angelo De Santis, and Adriana Masciotra (Angelo) all of London. Loving grandmother of Roberta Vetro (Will), John Bartolotto, Patricia Staffell (Duane), Dan and Melissa Masciotra all of London and Loreto De Santis of New Jersey. Also loved by 8 great-grandchildren. Sister of Elena Menciuni (the late Rodolfo - 2006) of London and Menicuccia Palleschi (Bernardo) of Italy. Also survived by many nieces and nephews in Canada and Italy. Predeceased by her sister Vincenza. Visitors will be received in the O’Neil Funeral Home, 350 William St., London on Sunday from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Mary’s Church, (Lyle & York) on Monday at 10:00 a.m. Entombment St. Peter’s Cemetery. Prayers Sunday at 3:00 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimers Society.
