Peacefully, at Extendicare London, with family by her side, on Thursday, November 1, 2018 Maria Georgina De Sousa in her 98th year. Loving aunt of Richard Soares (Betty Jane) of Calgary, John Soares (Bozenna), Fred Soares and Elsie Altomonte (Anthony). Great aunt of Josephine Allan (Mark), Laura Soetemans (Kevin), Kaila Soares, Georgina Ferreira (Felipe), Tanner Soares (Rachel) and John Jr. Soares. Great-great aunt of Emma Allan, Ryker Soetemans, Skye Ferreira and Jackson Allan. Visitors will be received in the O'Neil Funeral Home, 350 William Street, London on Monday, November 5, 2018 from 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Mary's Church, 345 Lyle at York on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at 11:00 a.m., followed by interment in St. Peter's Cemetery, London. The family would like to thank the amazing staff at Extendicare for their care and compassion and would also like to extend their sincere thanks to the St. Mary's lay ministers with a special acknowledgment to Marg McIntyre.
