Maria Francisca De Melo

Maria Francisca Demelo, 79 of London passed away January 11, 2025 with her family by her side. She was born to the late Jose and Maria Soares, January 30,1946 in Fenais d’Ajuda. She will be missed by her beloved husband of 59 years, Americo Demelo. She is survived by her 6 children: Jose Demelo (Rosemary), Americo Demelo (Michelle), Aires Demelo (Dulce), Anne-Marie Demelo (Jerry), Elmira Castanha (Albano) and Dan Demelo (Michelle). She is also survived by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Nicole, Amanda (Jeremy) Joshua (Candice), Christopher, Justin, Zackary, Jake, Tina Tanya, Franco, Madison, Alexandra, Colton, Cristian, Steven, Mia, Katiana, Khalessi and Marren. Maria was predeceased by her granddaughter Kayla Demelo and her great-granddaughter Zhavia Castanha. Maria will always be remembered by her siblings Manuel (Ludres), Maria Jose (Manuel), Eduardo (Maria), Carlos Alberto (Ana Maria), Laura (Silvestre), Jose Dimas (Cidalia). She is predeceased by her brothers Emanuel (Ludres) and Daniel (Ludres).Maria was a wonderful wife and mother who always put her family first. She lived a life full of love, laughter and kindness and we are grateful for every precious memory.
